Empowering Youth for Sustainability: AIESEC x GarGeon Event Recap 🌱♻️

At GarGeon, we believe that collaboration is key to solving environmental challenges. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with AIESEC, a global youth leadership movement, to host an engaging session on sustainable waste management and how businesses and individuals can contribute to SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action)

Bringing Together Sustainability & Leadership

The event was filled with energy as AIESEC volunteers actively participated in discussions on how waste impacts our environment and what solutions exist to reduce it. With Gargeon’s expertise in digital waste management and AIESEC’s commitment to leadership and impact, the session became a powerful platform for knowledge-sharing, brainstorming, and action-oriented conversations.

Engaging Discussions & Active Participation

One of the highlights of the session was the interactive Q&A, where volunteers asked insightful questions about how businesses can minimize waste, how digital solutions improve waste efficiency, and what individuals can do to reduce their carbon footprint. The level of engagement showed the passion and curiosity of these young leaders in driving sustainability forward.

Beyond discussions, the event also focused on real-world applications. Volunteers were introduced to waste management strategies, the 4R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover), and the “Gate-to-Grave” approach, which emphasizes responsible waste handling from production to disposal.

The Road Ahead: A Shared Commitment

This event was more than just a discussion—it was a step toward real change. By equipping young leaders with the right knowledge and tools, we are ensuring that sustainability is not just a concept, but a movement.

Gargeon and AIESEC share a common goal: to empower individuals and businesses to be part of the solution. We are excited to continue fostering partnerships that drive real impact in waste management and environmental sustainability.
